Really productive day today. Biggest one was that I finally fixed some performance / availability issues that have been plaguing Write.as this week. This was huge, and of course will make me much less stressed, assuming it all holds up through our nightly traffic spikes. But I’ll be keeping an eye on it.

Plans for 2025
Been an odd week. Spent a lot of the previous week working out why I pay for #WriteAs Had me thinking of why I did first ever try to blog. Simple #PTSD I wrote a crappy Wordpress thing about what I was going through and why it had started. That was more years ago than I recall. Odd thing is for 15 years now I’ve not had any issue. But thinking of why I’m paying for WriteAs and recalling why I started writing my feelings down in public has brought on a week of PTSD. If I’ve been off I apologise.
That is excellent and exemplary to other fediverse app developers to help the #ActivityPub ecosystem improve and become increase overall #interoperability.

Just rolled out some fediverse-related improvements:
- Now you can follow Write.as blogs from Ghost! There was a tiny bug with this that we just fixed. (WriteFreely PR: https://writefreely.org/pull/1373)
- We now support the `preview` property as a fallback for Articles. This will make your posts look much nicer as more platforms support it! (WriteFreely PR: https://writefreely.org/pull/1374)

I have several accounts on various fediverse services. On my #mastodon account / #fedilab client I've made a list where I have added all my other users, including my #WriteFreely #writeas user to make the stuff I post easy to find.
My pixelfed and other stuff appears in the list, but none of my write.as stuff do. Any idea why, and what the issue might be? #fedihelp
