The biggest irony of the #US, is that it was founded on the principal of the people through their #representatives having total #control over monetary and fiscal policy (no taxation without representation), but the #banking #regime have already taken over #monetary #policy before most of us were born, and now they are very close to taking over #fiscal policy in #Washington.

#Bankers fund #political #campaigns, and in turn get put in #government positions to keep directing funds to #WallStreet.

#US #Retail #investors are digging their own grave. Why? who knows, maybe because they've been programmed to #BuyTheDip, or perhaps they've been convinced by the media that the US Dollar is collapsing at the same time when Retail should not be going all in on indices and businesses that may not survive in the next 10 years because they can't compete with #Asia.

It's weird how fast an #Empire can #Collapse under its own stupidity, and do it exactly how prior empires did.

The #Trump administration's continued #attack on #Harvard (and #education in general) is causing one of the largest brain drains out of a country since 1930's #Germany.

Let that sink in.

This attack on education is actually going to hurt the #US in the long run when it comes to #AI and other future #technology.

It's cliche at this point to say MAGA are this century's #Nazis, but its accurate.

MAGA have their #Project25 and the Nazis had their #Project38. The similarities are frightening.

Normally when a #Ponzi becomes obvious that it's a Ponzi, it ends because the #law shuts it down.

#Fiat #currency is obviously a Ponzi, especially in the case of the #US #Dollar or the #Japanese #Yen, but there are no #laws to shut them down.

The buyers of US #debt are backing off as the debt becomes #parabolic, even at a time when exponentially more #investment is required to back the rising debt obligations of the US #Government.

The only way out is #hyperinflation.

3/ Reformists are almost always far right, seeking to bring back simpler times but almost always through complicated means that defy logic and scrutiny, where truth and outside criticism must be suppressed, sometimes in a mocking fashion to smear the public opinion of critics.

Britain, if they vote in "Reform" will become immobile and incapable of acting swiftly in the future when unexpected troubles arise. But sometimes the outcome is part of destiny, and destiny isn't always in one's favour.

2/ Reform always starts with the disruption of #social order and economic #law. It shifts power into the hands of #oligarchy --who love #reformist politics because it is a swift rearrangement of political #order in their favor-- and cuts out social #programs that end up costing lives and livelihood for the bottom 99%.

#Reform is one of the most deceptive #political words, as it really means "a REturn to FORMer times".

It only gains popularity in a #climate where people are desperate for #change, and unaware that the change they seek requires immense #sacrifices they would personally be unwilling to make if they knew beforehand they would have to make them (see #Trump's second term as US #President and the #economic destruction of his own #voter base as he makes sweeping #reforms).

During good times, #social norms progress forward, sometimes much further than the #political #right can handle.

When times turn for the worst, the right inevitably gain #power and make things even worse via reforms to justify reversing social #progress.

This is not a new #cycle. Every time a #nation wakes up to its own #diversity, the right claim this #awareness is responsible for #economic decline and use this as an excuse to #tax the #poor and reward the #wealthy.
