Hallo zusammen - wie immer mit einem aktuellen Bild der Sonne via Satellit SDO.

Der linke Teil der erdzugewandten Seite der Sonne in gelber Farbe. Vom Rand gehen gewaltige Strahlenbündel ins All aus. Teils breiten sie sich fächerförmig aus, teils sind sie in großen Bögen geformt und führen entlang der komplexen Magnetfelder der Sonne zur Oberfläche zurück. Diese Magnetfelder sind durch die Rotation der Sonne in sich verdreht und zwingen das ausströmende Gas, bei dem es sich genau genommen um ein Plasma handelt, in diese kurvigen Bahnen.
