@vertexrage This is probably an exercise I should try. There are a handful of things I do with addons that I don't know how to do with vanilla, and should.

Celebrating #FungiFriday with officially the teeniest mushroom I've photographed; I'm still pretty new to real macro photography and it's proven to be quite the challenge, particularly on film, but wow is it satisfying when the effort pays off!

@vertexrage You're right about Blender updates potentially breaking old versions, but this is why LTS is a thing. And having to keep up with this indefinitely as a developer and receiving no additional compensation beyond the original purchase is unsustainable as a business model. I don't blame the guy for trying to monetize updates. I'm not super happy about it, but I don't think what he's doing is the same as what Adobe does.

@vertexrage This weirded me out at first, so I looked more closely. It's not exactly a subscription, it's more like buying a new version. It kinda stinks from a user perspective since we're used to this stuff being free, but understandable considering the amount of work it must take to keep this thing up to date. And we're only talking 2-4 bucks a year.
