What do you think about the FUTO Android keyboard?
I do test it right now as an replacement for the AnySoftKeyboard. Not sure if I fully trust it right now. Any opinions on that topic or other replacements?

@Gogoetak desde hace algunos años abandone #gboard y vengo usando #anysoftKeyboard porque añade otras peculiaridades, como el activar el "tecleo anonimo permanente" o las teclas o flechas de movimiento, para el caso de quere añadir/corregir caracteres a mitad de palabra, y asi no tener que borrar todo... ademas puedes añadir otros teclados, como el de terminal... y el #FLOSS

Bei der #Alternative @anysoftkeyboard@hachyderm.io gefallen mir darüber hinaus die zusätzlichen Pfeiltasten zur #Cursor #Navigation, die Umstellung der #Sprache und die zusätzlichen Tasten für deutsche #Umlaute.

@Cosmosburan @Shine_McShine tienes razón en lo del teclado. Precisamente es lo que más me está costando cambiar. Actualmente uso SwiftKey 😈y aunque he probado varias veces #AnySoftKeyboard no me he acostumbrado. Me gusta poder escribir en varios idiomas a la vez.
Tú cual recomiendas?

(Je viens d'entendre parler de #FlorisBoard )
#AnySoftKeyboard ist ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie man sehr gute FOSS Projekte für die breite Masse komplett uninteressant macht. Das Release auf #FDroid ist 2+ Jahre alt. Das latest stable im GitHub ebenso. Das #IzzyOnDroid Issue wurde ad acta gelegt[1]. Lt. Entwickler soll man halt durch obskure Reifen springen und über Google Play Betatest beitreten[2]. Einziges Problem: eh geht ned, weil diverse Smartphones nicht supportet sind.
Gut, probier ma halt mal #HeliBoard aus... Vielleicht wird das weniger μ-sam.

@zylog @clonbg no conozco el celu en cuestion, pero una alternativa seria cualquier otro movil con /e/OS o cualquier otro OS libre de G00gl3
En lo personal tengo #fairPhone, pero para la mayoria es probablemente demasiado costozo como para que sea una opcion.
Lo que para mi es un "casi innegociable" es el /e/, un sistema muy completo y harmonico en todos sus detalles.
Respecto de las apps, aqui mi recomendacion:

#silence para reemplazar la app de #sms
#organicsmaps basado en #OSM me parece que tiene mejores mapas y mas completos que los comerciales
#nextcloud en una #orangepi o #raspi puede reemplazar perfectamente cualquier solucion #cloud
#aves como la mas completa solucion para administrar nuestras fotos
No soy muy amigo de las apps comerciales, pero cuando son irremplazables entonces #AuroraStore es la unica alternativa confiable y para las #floss, siempre #NeoStore
En cuanto al teclado, desde hace años que vengo usando #AnySoftKeyboard, aunque todo es cuestion de gustos.
@gf @fexplorer ich bin auch mit #OpenBoard bzw. #HeliBoard sehr zufrieden. hier in der Artikelserie wurden einige Tastaturen getestet und vorgestellt: Tastatur-Serie: Alternative Smartphone-Tastaturen.

I tried a couple of #FOSS Android keyboard alternatives, namely #AnySoftKeyboard & #Florisboard, and was impressed by how much the developers have been able to accomplish to date. Florisboard's English-language glide typing is good! ASK's corrections were good too. And I'd really like to stop sending so much of my input through Google's vacuum cleaner. BUT I'm so spoiled by Gboard-- its features are terrific, especially for a language-learning app (gesture/glide support in multiple languages with radically different alphabets), that even without auto-suggestions/corrections, it's hard to wean off.

Even after more than four years of using #GrapheneOS a new user article can surprise me with apps I missed.
I had the original #Swype keyboard on my #Pixel4, but my new #PixelFold would not let me install it. I didnt like any of the alternatives i tried, and reluctantly used GBoard, but, even though Jordan Spencer didn't like it, I discovered i did like the #AnySoftKeyboard. So thanks for the reference.
