Zimmer mit Frühstück

Das warten, es hat sich gelohnt,
nicht nur eine Blüte über der Wiese trohnt.

Manche haben es leider nicht geschafft,
vor dem ersten Sonnenstrahl verlies sie die Kraft.

Das Tischlein gedeckt und ausgebreitet,
so manches Bienchen sich mit einer anderen streitet.

Ein kurzes Nickerchen, die Erschöpfung ist groß,
sie bleibt einfach liegen in der Blüten Schoß.

Die Blüte schließt sich des abends zu,
hier findet das Bienchen dann seine Ruh.

Mit den ersten Strahlen des Morgens aufgewacht,
Zimmer mit Frühstück, welch eine Pracht.

Zarter Krokus mit unscharfen Hintergrund.

Colourful kites flying on the blue sky. There are only very few very thin clouds.

A cabbage butterfly (Pieris Brassicae) sitting on top of some wild mustard flowers. The butterfly is white with a couple of black spots on its wings. The flowers are bright yellow, on bright green background from their plants.

以前我做調查時紀錄過這個模式：單一花蜂個體在一個蜜源場，會持續利用相同的花，如果停在另一種花上會立刻起飛換花；而同種其他個體則可能在另一種花上表現相同的模式。meetin的時候我提出過這個解釋，但沒有看到文獻和操作實驗支持，所以連我自己也沒有認真看待。現在才發現奇特卡早就做過相關研究，他們用兩種假花設計題目讓熊蜂採集，發現多工並進的效率明顯更低。其實和人進行固定複雜工作時也有點像，差異是人把任務拆成重複的小任務做完再進下一段。其實我們的很多議題都應該用假花來驗證就好了，當然前提是蟲養得起來。

searching image是一種用來解釋動物採集食物/獵物時的概念，意思是如果一個食物資源需要特殊處理，那動物在同時有多種資源的覓食場，表現出先集中注意力在其中一種特定資源上。所以捕食貝類、隱蔽獵物等需要學習技巧情況，捕食者行為會出現試探、練習、熟練的過程。如果不考慮學習成本，使用單一資源在處理時間上可以呈現更高效的捕食曲線。然而在討論訪花時，因為對昆蟲而言看起來太輕鬆，所以容易忽視學習訪花技巧的成本對昆蟲行為模式的影響。但其實訪花技巧非常複雜，而且處理時間相對昆蟲壽命有更大的佔比，每朵花多十秒對蟲而言肯定是巨大的。奇特卡在《蜂的心智》更進一步敘述這個學習模式的記憶與注意力解釋，讓蜂類的searching image概念更完備。

Just found this bee in my garden on the paving, looking very forlorn. Was walking a little bit, but a long way from any food source or shelter.

Moved it to a largish clump of red dead nettle (Lamium purpureum) which is in flower.

I think the bee is a hairy-footed flower bee (Anthophora plumipes) which the iRecord app seemed to agree - though need it to be positively identified by an expert.

Quite the floofy cutie! Hope it appreciated the move and survives.

Small stout hairy bee on grey-green paving. It is typically striped black-yellow with a black bum. Long black antennae, big black eyes, white fluffiness around the mouth area. The legs all have long hairs, some fringed white making the legs have white striped legs (lengthways). Thorax is more orange than the abdominal stripes. Cute.
