I did a thing. Meet Liam Meri'a Morvelet, the Bard of Sagon.

Painted circa 1250:5AE, right at the opulent peak of the Fifth Astral Era, this oil-on-oak panel is attributed to the master Raoul de Valois. Now, I want you to look closely at the lighting. Do you see how the light catches the side of his face while the rest of the study recedes into that deep, dramatic shadow? This technique—known as tenebrism—was revolutionary for its time. It tells us that Morvelet wasn't just a writer; he was a figure of immense gravity, a man bringing the 'light' of intellect into the world.
