Emailing the absolute fuck out of bunnings because I just saw a customer get *American-Karen* levels of aggressive with a worker, and he remained incredibly polite and helpful towards her. I know she's going to complain, so I'm emailing the store, customer support, and the corporate office to counter it.

Like, this woman was screeching across the store at him to help her, while he was talking to me. And when I said "oh wow" to him and laughed a tiny bit, she started screaming "that's right, laugh!" at me.

It was literally the level of unhinged verbal aggression you see in viral videos from the US of white women losing their shit and throwing a tantrum.

ma'am, this is a bunnings.. calm down.

There's a street library in Bathurst, and it has an insta. As a celebration of 100 followers, they posted a series of pictures of the library, including the library "marching for liberation and justice".

I love seeing things like this around me, because so often living in regional Australia feels like I'm the only person around here concerned with social justice, and it's amazing to find out there are comrades just down the road!

A picture from the Free Palestine March and protest across Sydney Harbour Bridge. Someone has edited the street library into the front of the picture, as though it attended. The library is a small yellow cupboard shaped vaguely like a beehive, with tiny brass bees stuck on it.

It's my housemate's 50th birthday next Wednesday, so I'm taking her to Goats In The Valley to feed and cuddle baby goats.. and then at some stage in the next couple of weeks I'm taking her to Feeding Baby Moos and Blue Spring Highland Cows to feed and cuddle baby cows (they're to distant from each other to do cows and goats on the dame day).

She's very excited.
