Fieldstone Bio's wild idea: microbes as living sensors. Drones deploy them, they change color revealing soil data or hidden landmines. Hyperspectral cameras & AI see it all. A new way to map our world.

I am looking for examples of open data sets related to the use of #biosensors ; it could be diagnostic, environmental monitoring, anything really. To be used in #teaching to get students to think, plot data, etc. One data set I am thinking of using is #Covid in French waste water but I need more. Thanks for suggestions and/or for sharing.

Researchers develop #molecular #biosensors that only #light up upon binding to their targets.

This week the -Spring Meeting 2024 will take place in Berlin. The JLB will present two posters on our current topics tomorrow from 6 pm. On the one hand, Philipp will present results on improving the sensitivity for microring resonators of photonic . On the other hand, Madeline will show an approach for the microfluidic separation of live and dead using . Come by: TUB, Eugene Wigner building, 1st floor.

One thing I thought was great about #IBID2023, was the range of scientists who participated in our #openaccess conference. Now please, a little drum roll for the following statement: We even had a scientific poster dealing with #biosensors and the #fediverse. It came from @jlb and invited discussion on " Sustainable Design of Online Biosensors".

How do you design in a way? 🌳
No simple matter. 🤔

We will give first answers today at the International Innovation Days at the BTU, Campus
b-tu.de/ibid

and will present a poster on this topic at the poster session:
b-tu.de/ibid/programm/thursday

Not exactly in South Brandenburg on that day? Too bad.
But the contribution can also be seen here

The picture shows the installed poster presentation "Sustainable Design of Online Biosensors" shown at IBID in Senftenberg today.
