Kann mir jemand sagen, wie es zu dem Dreieck kommt bzw. was LO mir damit sagen will? Änderungen in der Breite der Zellen oder des Zahlenformats bewirken nichts.

Attention #digipres hive mind - I came across quite an intriguing compatibility issue between an old #QuattroPro for #DOS file that uses the VLOOKUP function and #LibreOffice #Calc.

I'm using a fairly old version of LibreOffice (6.4.7.2), so I was wondering if anyone can reproduce this in a more recent version? If so, please let me know, so I can report this as an issue with the LibreOffice devs.

Mind blown🤯 - turns out that #LibreOffice #Calc can natively read some (but not all!) variants of the ancient #Microsoft #Multiplan file format.
Multiplan was a #spreadsheet application from the early/mid '80s that preceded #Excel. More info on the format in this excellent 2023 post by @Thorsted:

Woot, das ist echt schön. "Suchen und Ersetzen" in #Libreoffice #Calc ersetzt einem auch Werte in den Formeln.
Was bei einer Formel der Art `=SUMMEWENNS($OG.$F$4:$OG.$F$300;$OG.$A$4:$OG.$A$300;$Raumbuch.$B22;$OG.$C$4:$OG.$C$300;$Raumbuch.$K$4;$OG.$D$4:$OG.$D$300;$Raumbuch.N$5)` - und das ganze nun in einem Bereich von A5 bis BC78, wo alle Spalten auch etwas andere Werte in den einzelne Abschnitten der SUMMEWENNS haben, das ändern von "OG" in "EG" *extremst* vereinfacht.
Für die interessierten, was das macht ist recht einfach. "ZÄHLE die Zahlen zusammen, die du im Bereich F4 bis 300 findest, WENN Bereich A4 bis A300 mit dem Wert aus Raumbuch.B22 UND WENN Bereich C4 bis C300 mit Raumbuch.K4 UND WENN Bereich D4 bis D300 mit Raumbuch.N5 übereinstimmt". Also einfach, wenn Spalte A4, C4 und D4 den Werten aus der Raumbuch Tabelle übereinstimmen, dann zähle was in F4 steht. Das für alle Zeilen von 4 bis 300 durchgeführt.

hm is there an easy way to check support for not a whole feature but any update to a feature? e.g. https://www.w3.org/TR/css-values-4/#calc-type-checking the type checking for calc was relaxed in the spec but i can't really search for that on caniuse :/

Just ran into a brutal #UI / #UX problem in LibreOffice Calc, on a Debian bookworm system, fully up to date.
1. Decide to print spreadsheet
2. Open print dialog
3. Preview is in the left pane, options in the right.
4. Scroll down in the options pane to find an option near the bottom.
5. Change setting, or not.
6. Scroll back up to the top of the options pane, using the pointing device vertical scroll wheel.
7. If the "number of copies" scrollbox happens to pass under the mouse pointer, it will rapidly increase the number of copies. It's not particularly obvious this is happening; it's easy to miss the value is changing.
8. Move the mouse pointer slightly up and scrolling the options pane continues.
9. Click "print".
Voila! 23 copies of what you wanted to print a single copy of.
I actually ran into this while trying to debug a totally different UI / UX bug 😱
