Voici mon bol de #chaga du matin (début d'aprèm, ouais, bon, hein). Belle couleur, non ? Ça ne remplace pas mais j'ai diminué de moitié ma consommation de #café cet hiver. Goût de tisane de sciure mais ça se laisse apprécier finalement.

Day 2: added #LionsMane & a bunch of other non-psychedelic #MedicinalMushrooms (#reishi, #chaga, #cordyceps & #TurkeyTail) to my stack. I'd heard Lion's Mane can make some people feel the #psilocybin more, and I wanted to be prudent & not try to push my dose past sub-perceptual, so I dosed the 0.1g of #Mazatapec in the morning & added the others later in the day. So far so good. 2 more days of this, then 3 days of just the non-psychedelic 🍄 s, then I rinse & repeat for the rest of the month.

Restaurants in my town have been serving a mushroom based coffee alternative or additive called #Chaga. To my palate it sounds like what you were drinking. I’ll have it sometimes when it’s on the menu. I don’t like it enough to keep a supply of it.

Chaga! A parasitic fungus that grows predominately on White Birch trees. It is said to have health benefits when made into a tea. There are various processes for this but I boil up a half gallon at a time. (no, I don't drink it all at once!). I add Maine Maple Syrup to my cup. I only harvest a small portion of the growth at any given time so it can grow back. I probably have two dozen trees geolocated in the woods around me. Been harvesting Chaga for decades now.

Chaga, a parasitic fungus that grows predominately on older White Birch trees. Blackish in color with an ochre interior. The surface is gnarly and hard while the inside is softer. They vary in size, this one protruding like a face with an extremely long nose. Perhaps 8 inches (20cm) highh and 6 inches (15cm) wide
