How #Gauntlet is possible on the #Colecovision with all those sprites is beyond me. On the NES all the enemies were a part of the background layer. (If I remember right) I don’t think the Colecovision can do that even though this game requires the expansion pack basically making it an MSX. It’s impressive to say the least for what the Colecovision is. #retrogaming

I thought I lost this for a second, but it was packed away in my over filled closet. This isn’t the only game, but some early #NES games had better versions on the #Colecovision. #Burgertime is a prime example of this. In my opinion it just looks and plays better on the Colecovision. The green bits in the beef patty and cheese just looks terrible.

I get that this is probably a hot take and that Burgertime was an early release for the famicom before there were mappers, but as it is it is ugly. I would love to see somebody remake it using a mapper to get more colors #retrogaming
