I think living in Tokyo has made me super impatient about delivery of online orders. Now that I'm back in flyover country, USA, anything I order takes way too long. It has to go to Dallas, then, for some reason, up to Kansas City before going to Oklahoma City. Then Tulsa, before arriving in Broken Arrow. smh

Also, it doesn't help when the vendor takes an *entire eight days* to make a shipping label and drop it off for shipment. Now, another week to arrive from CA.

Ugh, minetest is so fucked up. Finally found a terrain generator that isn't absolutely unplayable and horrible, and it doesn't generate any caves. And in fact no module in minetest/luanti generates surface caves. It's never been done, not in the decades of people working on that game.

Oh there are cave generators, but they always come as part of a terrain generator that leaves the landscape looking like a crumpled up blanket.

I can't write a cave generator. I make caves by picking a random spot, and randomly walking downward, avoiding too steep angles. You can't generate a random walk from the middle!

And they STILL do not support Simplex noise.

Every time I have to do anything with a managed Nintendo family account on one of the kids’ Switches I am just amazed at how terrible the UX is. Truly awful.
