I would say it is a bit fiddly, but very customizable. I really wanted something simpler, like one of those read-it-later apps that have good styles with just a handful of tweaks, but I never found one.

Might tickle you if a regulator cheeses you off by having a feedback loop that really isn't constructed as it ought to be.

The study of feedback loops operating together to make systems is #Cybernetics and that's a book by #NorbertWeiner that I havent read yet.

Also for anyone needing entertainment or historical #books, there are lots of out-of-copyright books on #zLibrary and #LibraryGenesis obviously, as they dont pay publishers or authors, downloading other books, especially if you don't already have a physical copy, from there may not be legal in your jurisdiction.

Fellow #mathstodon-ians may enjoy #Flatland, it's a perennial gem. Also #Smith's Invisible Hand Of The Market (treat yourself, get all four books! It's the only way to read his Magnum Opus). And all the #stoic #philosophy - #Seneca, #MarcusAurelius, and the rest.

Free ereader apps like #coolReader can read them aloud to you while you drive (make sure to get epub format) although the voice is a bit Steven Hawking so only use it for books you're really interested in hearing!

Edited to add: there are some great #textToSpeech engines out there both paid and free, and you can try different ones.

I use #FreeOpenSourceSoftware on many devices since many years. It all started with #GCC in 1989 on an #Amiga on the other side of the wall. Followed by #EMACS and #GNU #Linux.

@rixx If you like free open stuff and a high quality #eBookReader you should look at #PocketBook Touch Lux . They just released their newest model. I deployed the #OpenSource reader #CoolReader on two of the three I own for myself and my family.
