Went into Trader Joe's today. 1/2 of carts still in parking lot instead of near doors. Only 2 cashiers, overheard manager asking an employee if they could work tomorrow because another employee still sick. This location is normally fully staffed. #CovidsNotOver

Thought 1: We - me and my partner - were the only two people masked in the event. We were there only a short time, in great part because there were probably 50-60 people in the auditorium/gym of the church* who shared their space for the event. It attracted people from probably a 50 mile radius, and I guess we're the only ones who both 1) wanted info about local growing information and 2) also know COVID isn't over.
Super curious about how many people end up sick as a result; but that's not information that gets shared in any official capacity, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
*Although the church provided the space, it wasn't a church event, per se; rather, an unofficial town event.
