As USB Ports, we received from our French colleagues at the CGT of the Gulf of Fos the communication that 19 pallets of ammunition destined for the IDF in Israel are expected from their port.
We also know that the Marseille dockers immediately mobilized to prevent the loading of these weapons.
We immediately coordinated to organize a garrison at the Port of Genoa, with the aim of preventing the docking of the ZIM ship "Contship ERA" scheduled for 3:00 pm on June 6 at the Ponte Etiopia crossing.
We strongly reiterate that we do not want to be complicit in the genocide that continues in Gaza and that we firmly oppose all wars!
For this reason, we invite everyone to participate in the picket on June 6th at 3:00 pm at the Varco Etiopia in Genoa and to take part in the general strike on June 20th.
All our solidarity goes to those who mobilize against the war and to those who suffer the wars perpetrated by “our governments “

Ignoring the job security fears of dockworkers and truck drivers, he touted his "beautiful tariffs" on China while showing a concerning disconnection from the industry's hardships. This episode highlights the vital need for leadership that listens to the everyday struggles of American labor. East and Gulf Coast suspended their strike after securing a tentative agreement with shipping companies, which includes a 62% wage increase over six years, reflecting a hard-fought struggle against corporate greed.

This is a significant victory for the dockworkers and a testament to the power of collective action.
