@ketanjoshi.co when #doomers refer to #collapse i think they often refer to the seneca cliff in which complexity breaks down a lot faster than it build up. but that is also a very specific mathematical model. it plays a huge role in the limits-to-growth model, but it is STILL JUST ONE MODEL.

For some time now I have considered that #Climate and #Environment #Doomerism is, actually, the only realistic approach. Pretending that we are not thoroughly f*cked on multiple levels actively prevents:
1) Challenging the widespread delusion that we are doing anything near what actually needs to be done
2) Preparing for the impending societal #Collapse that will affect everyone in ways that they simply don't understand, and don't want to understand.

some have to fight the daemons so that others can fight reality.
be clear about your role in it & what dynamic it is that you want to make a difference to. your role is to wake them all up to this reality? then just say that it is.
and be aware, as the message of collapse is hurtful to all people with at least 2 brain cells left - it will not always be met with appreciation.
