Bin über diesen Satz natürlich gestolpert und musste kurz überlegen, was an ihm so holprig bzw. schlichtweg falsch ist.
Der Fall ist klar: XY will WEN oder was verändern (Akkusativ)? XY will WEM treu bleiben (Dativ)?
Dadurch dass wir hier zwei verschiedene Fälle haben, kann das Reflexivpronomen "sich" nicht einfach entfallen, sondern muss wiederholt werden.
