Today is an excellent day to stay outside, reduce energy usage by opening windows and window coverings, engaging in handicraft(knitting, carving, etc.) that don't require energy sources to be done. Playing games, both outdoor and indoor(though you may have to move by the window) with family and/or friends. You could do some litter pickup or protest big oil if you're feeling the need to contribute effort.

Wife and I, like many others, have been taking it as a personal challenge today to cut back as much on our electricity as possible given the massive p/kWh pricing. Every individual can help reduce the load on the grid. In my case I worked from the office today, opting not to use my power-hungry battlestation. At home, it's candlelit and battery on the MacBook Pro.
