Eventbrite is now an awful user experience. Both the website and app are awful / broken in different ways... Sometimes I need to use both for different tasks.

Apologies to all if these options are there and that I've missed them, but the fact I've missed them suggests they are not obvious or user-friendly.

Entre utiliser #eventbrite pour organiser un événement universitaire autour de l'orientation ou passer par un #mobilizon auto-hébergé (et relié à la fédération d'identité), qu'est-ce qui est préférable pour les usagers ? qu'est-ce qui est le plus pratique selon toi ?
If you use #EventBrite for legit purposes, maybe consider another service. I get A LOT of emails for all kinds of #events from EventBrite since something continues to create accounts there using my email address. The company apparently doesn't verify the accounts and doesn't respond. Best I can do is filter it all into trash.

@jamey I was very sad when #Eventbrite stopped providing iCal links for events which I could easily import in my #NextCloud.
I know that converting #Eventbrite organizer events to ical calendar events is possible (thanks to https://eb-to-ical.daylightpirates.org/), but is it possible to get alerts of new events by an organizer via #rss? (besides with #killthenewsletter, I guess)

I've been getting emails intended for the organizer of an event on #Eventbrite. This person has set their email address to mine, with an extra dot, which gmail disregards.
I tried to contact them, but the "contact the organizer" form is broken. Eventbrite requires you to log in to contact support. I don't have an account. The AI chat is also completely broken.
"Luckily", I found that there's actually a bigger problem with hackers creating spam events.
Everything is broken, and nobody cares. ☹️
