I can download the installation files for every game I have bought on GOG. I can install these games with no internet thanks to the EXE/sh files.
In my eyes, that's not a license that I bought. I bought the game so I can download and install it whenever I want to, just like in the good old days.
I’m not sure what to do, but I’ve decided on playing #Warframe on my Debian desktop. I have my summer break until August 4, and Warframe is hosting #Tennocon soon.

How is it a problem? #Valve is one of the few companies that can be called an absolute success. They have an amazing product(s), they are profitable. They are the reason why #pcgaming is superior to consoles. They made #gamingonlinux not only possible, but almost painless. Why do they need to grow? Can't an amazing company just stay amazing? Is there a single company that chased "the growth" and didn't turn its product to shit?
I can't recall a single situation in which things turned out well when #investors pushed someone to "grow more". It always ends in #enshitification.
Making "unprecedented profits" (or simply doing well) is more than enough. It also usually results in a much better product.
But of course I'd like to know how the story of #gordonfreeman ends 😅

Quería jugar Return to Castle Wolfenstein, pero tanto con el Proton de Steam, como con Proton-ge, el juego iba muy mal. Pero gracias a protondb.com vi que usando Luxtorpeda el juego fuerza la versión nativa de Linux y va perfecto.
