I've been picking trash for 30min, felt really good, was convinced that if we all to our small part, we'll greately influence this global ecosystem.. until I stumbeld on this white plastic, once used as cords. by their production itself they are doomed to be polluting our environment. stop producing litteral trash.

Besides that, Nacpans Twin Beach is incredibly beautiful. I am truly grateful to visit the Philippines.

The fish in rivers are contaminated with rat poison—this means fish like salmons are contaminated. Also, all rivers eventually connect to sea. If humans don’t stop using rat poisons, all marine animals would be contaminated. Probably they already have been. Yet another reason to avoid seafood. Everything is connected—tangled in the web of life on earth.

Infographic by school of vegan; How old the animals are when we kill them, and their actual lifespan. Pigs, for example, are killed at 6 months, can live to 12 years. Cows can live to 20 years. Calves of dairy cows are killed at 1~24 weeks, and meat cows at 18 months. Chickens can live to 8 years. Male chicks are killed at 1 day, broilers at 6 weeks, and egg producers at 1~2 years. Sheep can live to 12 years. Lambs are killed at 6~8 months. Turkeys can live to 15 years, but killed at 5 months.
