Always a good start to the day when you scan an item at the supermarket and it comes up $1.10 less than the ticketed price and there's no sale on.

Believe that I always learn something (sometimes lots!) while writing code for should-be-simple lab projects. This is certainly true with this simple RF power meter project. Hereโs the Community Edition LabVIEW front panel that is reading the Mini-Circuits ZX47-55 power detector (via Digilent AD3 converter) while being driven by my ADALM-PLUTO SDR TX output at 100 MHz at -40 dBm. Still more fun ahead with this before calling it good enough. #HamRadio #RF #SDR #Digilent #GoodStart
Good morning! Who's drinking their โ right now?
IC to Antwerp arrives in time in Rotterdam. A #goodstart for today's #crossborderrail

#Lindell told NBC News last year that he could no longer afford to pay...โWeโve lost everything, every dime,โ he said in a phone interview in October. โAll of it is gone.โ
Good morning โ๏ธ, today I got up late intentionally and rushed through my morning routine (coffee, getting ready, packing) within 15 minutes. So surprised how fast I can actually be.

What about you?

Will not solve every problem with every company, enshittification-related or otherwise, but when I'm anointed dictator (or SEC Chair) every company with grandiose plans to go public, receive financing, take customer money... โ i.e., every company โ will need an independent, C-Suite level Office of #ChiefEthicist. Will operate like IGs in government.
Details TBD. It's a #GoodStart.
Belated VGM Wednesday submission. I was really tired yesterday, but I wouldn't want to miss a week about stage 1 music! After all, stage 1 is the most important stage in any game since it is the one that will be played the most, so the music HAS to be a banger. (Unfortunately, too many devs neglect stage 1/the starting area.)
Game design philosophy aside, my nomination goes to Desperate School from ESP Ra.De. It plays in the Houou High School stage, which is stage 1 if you're playing as Yusuke. This is the remixed version by Ryuโ, which was added in M2's ShotTriggers port.
#vgmwednesday theme of #GoodStart
I love lore and world building, nothing like an ancient tale or prophecy to start an epic legend
Okami - Prologue
It turns out Extra Lives covered this song as "The Last Duel." I have also read it as "Final Decisive Battle." Whatever you call it, this is the song to pump you up along your way to the Sinistrals and creating a legend, and that's just the first hour of #LufiaAndTheFortressOfDoom. #GoodStart indeed.
Today'#VGMWednesday is #GoodStart, so I decided to highlight the opening song in Ocean's Jurassic Park for #SNES. While the game's music sounds nothing like John Williams, it is an amazing soundtrack that fits the setting nicely.
I was going to pick the first level of Comix Zone for a #GoodStart, but knew there had to be something else that really sucked me in. What greater than what graces your ears upon your first steps into La-Mulana? A song full of excitement, grandeur, and curiosity. Truly the start of an epic!
@miona This week I'll choose the first level music of a good old DOS game, from the time when a lot of the games I played on PC were from shareware versions compilations.
Here's the #GoodStart of Hocus Pocus.
#GoodStart is now trending across Mastodon
For today's #VgmWednesday, we explore what you think is a #GoodStart. What first level/stage/zone/area music did draw you in the most?
For me that has to be Paternal Horn from Nights into Dreams on #SegaSaturn ๐ฅฐ
#VGMWednesday by @miona has the theme of #GoodStart, and I'm going to have some fun with this one. Going a bit out of the box.
Saints Row IV opening mission ends with the player character stopping a rocket with Aerosmith "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" while the rest of the cast leave messages thinking the player might die in sacrifice. Clip from that scene.
For this #VgmWednesday the theme is #GoodStart basing that on the first area and such in the game that sounds good and draws you in. I will go with... Quake 2! Descent into Cerberon. It's music to the first part of "Unit 1" the moment after the opening cutscene... watch out you're ready for business.
Every single time I load this I am just ready to take on anything.
