Seit heute gibt es neue Konditionen bei Neuabschlüssen der #Genialcard der #Hanseatic -Bank: Geldabheben im Inland wird ebenso mit 3,95€ bepreist wie Überweisungen aus dem Verfügungsrahmen aufs eigene Girokonto. Dafür wurde das Limit bei Online-Zahlungen erhöht.

If you give all your attention to the Town Hall when you visit the Rathausplatz in #Riga, you are looking the wrong direction! The "House of the Black Heads" was rebuilt in the 1990s. A guild hall on this site had existed since the 14th century, marking Riga's participation in the #Hanseatic League and other trade networks. The statue of Roland is a nice grace note from the past, too.
The Small Guild hall of #Riga, #Latvia recalls the rapid growth of trade across the #Baltic Sea in the early years of the "Livonian Confederation." The German Crusaders who arrived in the 13th century were accompanied by traders (such as members of the #Hanseatic League). Amber, furs, and amber were soon flowing into Europe!

Oosterlingen Square in #Bruges was the site of the #Hanseatic League's palace in the city. The building was so sumptuous that it was featured in the "Seven Miracles of Bruges," a 16th century painting celebrating the city's highlights.
Today, only some of the foundations remain, incorporated in a hotel.
For centuries, #Bruges was a critical port, with substantial connections to the #Hanseatic League and other networks. House Bouchoute incorporates a compass to specify the current wind direction, enabling merchants to know which ships could sail on a given day.
I love a beautiful stained glass window and this circular one is in the Hospital of the Holy Spirit in Lübeck, Germany. There is a painted date above it of 1655 but I don't know if this window dates from then or not.
