O HeliBoard 3.7 acabou de chegar ao F-Droid, com uma nova biblioteca para digitação por gestos (swype). Abrindo o aplicativo do teclado, aparece a opção de treinar essa nova biblioteca, e foi o que fiz. Enviei umas trezentas palavras, entre português e inglês, mão direita e esquerda, polegar e indicador, teclado cheio ou modo de uma só mão.
@RealGene Do you use Google keyboard? If so, switch to Heliboard #heliboard or Fossify Keyboard #fossifyapps , on f-droid.
Then, activate Incognito keyboard option in Signal. It should help.
Other option, switch your entire system to iodeOS @iode or /e/OS #eOS
HeliBoard v. 3.7 (released last week in beta, today in stable) finally includes a search field for emoji!

Ce qu'on peut noter de vraiment intéressant est l'ajout d'une option permettant de constituer une base de donnée de saisie gestuelle (voir ici plus d'explication ici : https://github.com/Helium314/HeliBoard/issues/2226)
Ainsi en participant activement, on peut contribuer à la futur librairie de saisie gestuelle visant à remplacer l'actuelle à source fermer de google.
Inutile de préciser que c'est un super moyen de contribuer au libre et d'aider à construire les alternatives de demain :blobPikaUvU:

#heliboard is such a relief for typing multilingual.
I have an #android low-end #tablet from #BlackView, where I installed #HeliBoard and #MagicKeyboard from #KeePassXC.
Now, when I open any text field (like writing this post) I get magickeyboard as default and I have to swich to heliboard, which is tedious. How can I make heliboard default?

He ido cambiando todo a ese correo, usando los alias y las carpetas, que facilitan bastante. Todo llega al mismo correo en realidad, a diferentes alias. Antes lo tenía todo desperdigado entre gmail y outlook.
En mi teléfono android normal y corriente, fui cambiando apps "típicas" por otras open source. El teléfono rinde muy bien y ya tiene sus 6 años. Apps que uso ahora, eliminando o desactivando las "típicas"? Aves para galería, audile para reconocer canciones, "material files" como administrador de archivos, pdf converter, newpipe (adios app de youtube!), antennapod para podcast, fennec para navegador, "material notes" en vez de "notas", Aegis en vez de "Authenticator", un fork de telegram en vez de "telegram", heliboard para el teclado, gmaps wv y osmand en vez de maps de google.
En el ordenador me pasé a Firefox.
Y hace un rato he estado investigando donde volcar los contactos que tengo asociados a mi cuenta de google, para sincronizarlos a mi teléfono desde otra app o servicio y no depender de google en ello. Es el siguiente paso.
e/os/ me tienta, pero ya veremos cuando me tenga que comprar otro teléfono, esperemos que dentro de bastante.

@mschomm @Yewa Danke für den Tipp mit #Heliboard. Ich habe mir die App runtergeladen, aber um die Glidenfunktion nutzen zu können, musste ich den Informatiker im Hause fragen. Ich hab es nicht gefunden. Nachdem ich das von dir verlinkte Modul runtergeladen habe, musste ich unter Einstellungen > Erweiterte Einstellungen und dann ganz nach unten scrollen. Da steht was mit Gesten und Bibliothek > dort die Datei reinladen. Jetzt kann ich gliden. Vielleicht hilft das jemanden. #didfuernoobs #did

1️⃣ am Smartphone #whisper (https://f-droid.org/packages/org.woheller69.whisper/). Funktioniert gut, aber brauchst zum umschalten die richtige Tastatur. Bei mir ist das #HeliBoard (https://f-droid.org/packages/helium314.keyboard/). Funktionieren beide offline.
(#Futo, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.futo.voiceinput, ist evtl. schneller und schöner, aber das willst Du vermutlich nicht 😉. Würde aber auch offline funktionieren.)
2️⃣ unter Linux speech note, https://github.com/mkiol/dsnote). Empfinde ich aber als nicht so geschmeidig wie am Smartphone.
Falls das nicht klappt, sag einfach Bescheid.
@Yewa Da Du explizit SwiftKey bzw. "Wischen" erwähnst: #heliboard (das ich auch selbst benutze) bringt speziell die Funktion "Glide typing" nicht von Haus aus mit, sie lässt sich aber hinzufügen. Details hier:

@Yewa #heliboard funktioniert ganz gut. Nicht immer perfekt aber generell bin ich zufrieden
I've been running HeliBoard on my phone for a couple of months now. I still have the clumsy-thumbs problem, but it's no worse than it is with GBoard, and unlike Fossify Keyboard, Heliboard does have auto-correct and auto-suggest, which mitigates the problem.
It supports a ton of languages, but is notably missing Japanese and Chinese. (It does support Korean, though, presumably since it's a syllabary.) And of course it's local-only, making it much better from a privacy standpoint!

Also: it can support gestures, but you currently have to side-load a closed-source library to do it. Not ideal, but it does make it more of a drop-in replacement.
Ça fait 3 jours que j'ai mon nouveau téléphone et je n'arrive toujours pas à m'habituer au clavier HeliBoard et les paramètres sont trop tout pour arriver à savoir sur quoi jouer pour obtenir un résultat qui me satisfasse.
Est-ce que quelqu'un aurait un tuto pour configurer HeliBoard pour qu'il se comporte comme Swiftkey ?
