Wasn't up for a run today. But remembered that we had a TRX strap (Calisthenics) in the van, that we haven't used for 9+ months. Boy, only 7 minutes and I was knackered, I used to do 25min sessions followed by 25min of Rope Flow, think Tai Chi with a weighted skipping rope. I sooo need to get back into this.

*Ensuring the kids attended various after school things
*Organising GP appointments for L & the 15yo
*Attending a college open evening with the 15yo
*Driving the 15yo to & from his #LGBTQ+ youth group
*Driving L & the 12yo to & from the cinema
*Babysitting next door's 3yo so they could have an anniversary meal

An afternoon of hard graft in and around the house today with @ceri. Two more hydrangeas removed, three Acers planted. Gutters cleaned, redundant satellite dish removed, soffit fails discovered (uh oh), leaf fall dread commenced (look at the size of that sycamore) 😱 but lots of lovely chats with our neighbours 😊

#MetRoadTrip concluded yesterday with us driving 440 miles (708km) home from Ghent via Eurotunnel, with a total of 3,900 miles (6,276km) done in our little electric Corsa over the past 20 days! 😳 Keep an eye out for more pics.

As detailed already today i've managed a fair bit in general garden tidying. Dug the borders and weeded. Overseeded a grass area (Muppet. I want less grass not more).Got the dried out slain fencing under cover. To do:The driveway needs a clean.

I turned the #compost!

I use three containers:
1. Fill me
2. Let me sit
3. Use me

I empty 3 into pots to use - most recently I planted old eyesey spuds. Then 2 gets dug into 3. Then 1 gets dug into 2. I add paper is it's heavy. Then 1 has space for kitchen scraps again.

This is a *huge* task for me since #LongCovid. It takes several sessions over several weeks. I am very grateful to the many worms and other bugs in there for doing most of the work.

It feels like it's draining energy in every thing I do. Even simple things like having conversations and popping the kettle on can feel like a real endeavour.
