A very hopeful Kookaburra on the veranda railing. It has a white body and head, brown wings with flecks of blue, brown bandit mask and a two tone beak.

A pied currawong on the veranda railing. It is mostly black, but has some white patches on the wings (and under the wings) and on the tail. Also a beady yellow eye.

I went out on to the veranda and a kookaburra flew up to say hello. Clearly someone feeds it but I don’t have any fresh skinks or snakes so it’ll have to find its own food.
