Check it out, built me a #crane! Made inside #PicoCAD for #PicoCADJam144! The theme was #building, so I decided to twist it as a crane wrecking a set of buildings.
While making this, I was actually struggling to texture them, because I cannot just fly my camera, so if we ever get a #picotron port, hopefully this feature will be available.

Also I'm deep into a rigging rabbit hole right now. I'm trying to get my rig/model to work on multiple engines and platforms, not just #Blender and #unity3d I've always loved #Rigify for its widgets, but it takes some work to convert Rigify humanoids to the various other humanoid rig formats out there (#Mixamo, #VRM, #Mecanim).
How do other 3D artists make cross-platform humanoid rigs?

I made an art account on bsky but Ive been neglecting to post my old stuff here. So I'll start off with a low-poly arcade cabinet made out of cardboard for the charity game Vineworlds, featuring the previous charity game VineRealms. In the map its featured in, it has an animated screen playing the trailer for VineRealms.

There would be no games like #minecraft if it wasnt for #TaleOfTheSun i was the first open ended survival game. And on of the best examples of #lowpoly3d
I remember hunting mammoths (ironic...) in this game to use there tusk to get to the tail of the sun. As a kid, and I started my fascination with prehistory. Concepts such as #DeepTime would haunt me because of this game.
Up there with ape escape or baroque as my favorite weird ps1 game.
So I went down the rabbit hole with the room layout. Yesterday I did it in an HTML canvas. Worked to prove the layout was functional.
I decided to play with something I had never touched tonight. WebGL.
It took about two hours to get my head around it and get a very low poly (lol) render out.
A fun end to the week...๐โ
