I'm sharing this because I found it very helpful in getting podman removed and installing Docker so I could run Minikube. (Minikube doesn't run well with Podman.) My distro kept installing podman instead of Docker and I was trying to avoid needing to troubleshoot that issue.

I've found https://github.com/urubuhost/proxy-protocol-mod adding PROXY-protocol support, which is compatible with Minikube Gate Lite.

NeoVelocity adds support for Velocity, but Velocity itself is Java based.

Infrarust doesn't seem to support RealIP forwarding in any capacity.

Installed #minikube on windows by @chocolatey non admin script.
Fixed #docker image pull error due to the custom #certificate authority from #bluecoat🤬 proxy:
minikube ssh into the single cluster node and configured openssl docker cert with a little help from gpt-4o
Asked in #kubernetes slack but basically I had to solve it all by myself. Consider that minikube is based on #buildroot instead of a regular linux os, like kind cluster instead, and a tool as update-ca-certificates is not present.
