Two more rolls of film took me a long time to shoot, like the old days when a camera seemed like an extra anchor to drag along. But still, there's nothing like the process of developing negatives and the big reveal of, first, the emulsion on film, and second, the scans showing up on a big screen. (Never liked printing much)

This seemed the kind of picture you could only get with a film camera, and it captures the young man's personality well.

I'm not sure where this was or what it is, but it's a pleasing sort of no-context Russia photo. Spring 1991.

Have to #reverse #engineering this little #Minox #analog #film #camera to find the short in its #electronics. It has some battery corrosion but my money is on one of the #tantalum #capacitors on the circuit board. I managed find #repair #manual but it's useless as the board diagram is nothing as it is on the actual camera. I guess I'll have to do it the old way, desoldering the board and mapping the traces.
