The county sent me an email to let me know my ballot for the upcoming May election is in the mail. I already have the booklet. I will have days to complete the ballot and return it, either through the mail, or at a drop box. My signature will be on the outside of the envelope. If it doesn't match, there will be further steps to verify identity before my ballot is counted. This is how you do it.

These are the criteria for offering shelter to #UnhousedPeople in the #PortlandMetro area:

Winter shelters in #MultnomahCounty open when forecasted temperatures are 25 degrees or below, if forecasted snow accumulation is an inch or more or if forecasted temperatures are at or below 32 degrees with one inch of rain or more overnight.

Our political “leaders” sent #UnhousedPeople to spend the night on ice & snow covered ground because those criteria werent met.

Talk about the banality of evil.

Oh, crap. Eddy Morales is also running for the open congressional seat. Jayapal or Morales? Both would be great for the area. Eddy lost a tight race for Gresham mayor. He's a good campaigner with a solid base.
