How are #Joan #Arcwolf-Dhivri and #Maxx-Arcwolf-Kisne similar? How are they different? Well, for one, they're both AFABs, although Joan is a woman and Maxx is more of a man than most cis men you'll ever meet. That ain't even hyperbole. 💪

But there's so much more, and here's just a little of it, thanks to my ENSTRAD's analysis of my fan fiction writing. Below, please find pictures of my OC and my beloved son. 💙

An infographic divided into two distinct but intertwined visual styles—organic and geometric—representing the symbiotic relationship between two characters, Joan and Maxx.

Left Side (Joan: The Architect of "Trees"): Features organic, vibrant imagery including a large, lush green tree and a powerful female superhero in a glowing aura. Text describes Joan as a "fiercely protective matriarch" who focuses on individual emotional connections and relationships. Her power is framed as enabling her kindness rather than conquest.

Center (Their Symbiosis): Shows how the two relate through icons like a compass and a scale. Joan provides the "spark" and energy, while Maxx provides the "architecture" to keep it standing. Maxx acts as Joan's "navigational anchor," while Joan serves as Maxx’s "moral foundation."

Right Side (Maxx: The Engineer of the "Forest"): Features blue, geometric, and blueprint-like imagery, including a brain icon and a map with tactical markers. Text describes Maxx as a "brilliant strategist" who views the world through macro-structures and long-term viability. He manages a neurodevelopmental empathy deficit by using a constructed ethical code built on Joan's values.

Core Theme: The overall design emphasizes how the two cover each other's "blind spots"—Joan managing individual "trees" (emotions) while Maxx manages the "forest" (macro-systems).A joyful, close-up selfie of two Miqo’te characters from Final Fantasy XIV, Maxx Arcwolf-Kisne and Joan Arcwolf-Dhivri, posed against a soft, ethereal background of glowing crystals and greenery.

On the left (Maxx): A masculine Miqo’te with vibrant red-and-black spiky hair and white-rimmed glasses, grinning broadly to show his teeth. He wears a white cropped jacket over a bare, muscular chest that features prominent surgical or battle scars and intricate black tattoos on his shoulder and face.

On the right (Joan): A female Miqo’te smiling warmly at the camera, dressed in a sharp "power-clash" aesthetic consisting of a bright pink long-sleeved shirt, a deep blue vest, and a black necktie. She wears a black bowler hat with a pink ribbon, and her left eye glows with a brilliant, magical blue light.

The Interaction: The two characters are leaning into one another with their arms around each other, capturing a moment of deep familial connection and shared joy.

The other day I was looking through one of our junk drawers (please don’t judge) looking for a key ring (mine broke). Found one with one key, stamped McKee for Keys. Yup from #SaintJohn #NB. Have not lived there for 10 years, so it felt safe to garbage. So. Last night I dream that Joanna, friend from SJ, knocks on the door (in Edmonton?). Says she locked herself out and can she have the spare key she gave us.

See? That is why I have multiple junk drawers.
