Interesting! I just found a blog post that talks about using Twitch’s Enhanced Broadcasting & OBS from a Mac M4 Max.

In a sea of websites with old and “Don’t stream from a Mac because it sucks” pages, this one contains lots of good and current information.

The author does it for the same reason I do: recording and editing the footage later in Final Cut Pro with ProRes.

Me reporting a bug in the #OpenSource world.

„Hello guys at #OBS, I can't have plugin windows displayed for #VST2 on #Linux, except for #LinVST via #Wine.“

Months later from the other side:

„We're working on VST3, so we won't fix this because VST2 support will go away anyways.“

Needless to say, I doubt that the issue will a different one with #VST3, but the ticket has been closed now, so please shut up, dear annoying power user.

I'm glad that my #livestream setup does not depend on OBS.

Hey #Linux people, I'm hoping someone might be able to help with an issue I have. I just recently changed my gpu from Nvidia to AMD, and I don't see the AMF gpu encoder option in #OBS. All my software is updated, and I'm using the official OBS build. Is there something extra that I have to install? The gpu is an RX 9070 XT, and distro is elementaryOS.
