an "overview" of the remnants of a long-abandoned pier along a shoreline, five rows of wooden pole stubs poking out of the water, with a handful of taller ones off in the distancea view into the weathered-out basin of one of the shorter pole stubs, surrounded by larger beach rocks, clung to by residual seaweed and lichen, with a small reservoir of water inside reflecting the surrounding walls and skya view upward from the base of the taller pier pole beams, the outer two leaning toward the middle third, left mostly in shadow and center with random nails poking out of it, all three looking well weathereda late afternoon view of the abandoned tall beams, standing in silhouette like Stonehenge (or woodhenge?), strategically blocking the sun, and overhead clouds reflected in the tide pools at their base

I had no idea people were about to dive from the pier when I snapped the shot, so the splashes were a well time co-incidence.
