• Just disconnect the power button
• Have it at the rear (or a reset button that needs a paperclip to be pressed)
• Offer UEFI settings to change the behaviour by the owner
• …

But no, Apple has to "think different" in the worst possible way!

• They literally have SATA cables (!) Inside laptops (!!) failing through no fault of the users/owners!!!

I think the new #MacMini #powerbutton placement is a great idea. With my old, larger mini to the left of my display, I am forever mashing the power button when I try to unplug stuff. The new one is so small that if the power button were on the back corner, everybody would be experiencing that frustration every time they need to fool with connections. Much better to put the button on the bottom so you only hit it when you are trying to hit it!

The Surface Laptop Studio remains the single BEST laptop/tablet I've ever owned. It crushes the SB3, it's got great ventilation, amazing performance & its discrete GPU plays Halo Infinite & other graphics intensive software beautifully at high res.

...but seriously. Whoever designed the keyboard needs 'reprogramming'. I've been on Teams Meetings, dropped the call & scrambled to reconnect all because of THIS.

Instead hold Ctrl+Alt+PrntSrcn while hitting REISUB, the actual keys R, then E, then I, S, U, and B. Don't kill your #computer/server.

Remember it — to 'rise up' use REISUB.

My #FairPhone2 is screwing me.
Screen is flickering to be unreadable.
#FactoryReset & complely dismantling it, cleaning all the contacts didn't solve the problem.
#PowerButton & volume down stays on the first logo, the LED blinks blue until the battery is empty.
