Желание поиграть в проектирование собственного процессора обычно приводит к покупке платы с FPGA . Но мне захотелось сделать шаг дальше и начать не с Verilog-а, а с паяльника. Это статья о том, как я занялся разработкой электроники, не имея почти никакого опыта в этой сфере. Цель - сделать устройство с FPGA на котором можно загрузить Linux, подключить экран и клавиатуру, а потом прямо там писать и компилировать код. Зачем это нужно? Это хобби. Практической ценности не имеет. Просто я так развлекаюсь. А сейчас у меня, к моему собственному удивлению, все задуманное получилось, и я хочу показать и похвастаться.

Each new #RISCV product offers better performance to catch up with X86 or ARM systems.
There is still a gap, but it gets smaller.

Alibaba Group Holding launched the server-grade XuanTie C930 processor, designed for high-performance computing applications, including data-centers and autonomous vehicles. The chip will begin shipping to clients this month.

The open-source RISC-V instruction set architecture used in the C930 chip is expected to broaden domestic use of open-source chips in China, countering US tech restrictions.

Do you know an low power #SBC which has got both an #AP(Application Processor) and an #MCU(micro controller) and TRMs(Technical reference manual) are available in English in the public?

I don't need something fancy. A Cortex-A7 for the AP with at least 128MB RAM is enough. #riscv is okay too.

The only one I know is #milkvduo. The SoC has got an application processor(either RISC-V or 1xCortex-A53), and two MCUs.

Also I want the SBC to have #Wifi.

Also I want something cheap. not more than 25 USD.

I want use it to build a #customkeyboard which could also act as a micro PC:
