I may start keeping track of this stuff here. Despite knowing how toxic our culture is WRT self-abnegation and overwork, I sometimes feel bad about "wasting" a day, or not accomplishing "enough."

Chores:
Reloaded dishwasher
Unfucked the kitchen
Disassembled & washed the water filtration urn
Restocked 2 bathrooms' TP supplies
Took out the compost & trash

Self-care:
Basic AM hygiene
Non-weight bearing PT
Cleared my desk

Others'-care:
Helped partner w/wakeup routine
Made breakfast & lunch for partner
Retrieved and put away a load of not-my laundry
Run more not-my laundry
Fed, watered, played with, & kept cat company so he'd eat
Replaced snakes' water bowl w/full, clean one
Humidified snake tank
Made lunch & a snack for the coot
Checked in with coot; helped him decide what he wants for dinner

Back to the Great Swamp

I last visited the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in February. The photographs I took on my walk that afternoon I edited in black and white, which seemed to suit and evoke the gloomy winter mood of the place.

As excited as I am to reunite with my coffee maker (which I haven't seen in a month) and my toast-r-oven (over a year in storage!), I am equally looking forward to seeing my wooden comb and handmade wooden hand mirror

But I didn't mark what box I put them in! And many boxes are staying in storage! #RecordKeeping

So another #moving tip: make complete lists of the each box's contents. You may not get to unpack them immediately and vague labels on the outside (ie kitchen tools) will not suffice 😂
