Mary Burt died on 7th April 1916, Salonika aged 42 and was listed on 24th February 1917 among those of the staff at the SWH who had died of dysentery.

Mary Annie De Burgh Burt was born in 1874, London. She became one of the Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Institute for nurses as a Health Visitor. She had been a member of the NUWSS. Sister Mary joined the Scottish women’s Hospital.
On 28th October 1915 Sister Mary and a unit of women left for Salonika. She had travelled with the French Expeditionary Force from France to Serbia and then to Salonika. #WW1 #SWH

@Marcel Dieses #vorgehen ist sehr bedenklich. Die funktionsfähigen Geräte u. #Infrastruktur werden abgestellt, ausgetauscht. In #Kommunen, Stadtverwaltungen fehlen finanzielle Mittel. Das viele #Steuergeld wäre an anderer Stelle viel notwendiger z. B. f. #Kultur, #Soziales, für Menschen, die in der #Verwaltung arbeiten. In #SWH wurde erfolreich auf #Linux umgestellt, warum geht das nicht flächendeckend? #DigitaleSouveränität #digitalefreiheit mehr #transparenz #ressourcen
