The hardest part of it has honestly been giving myself permission to do it,

and then not getting caught up in how "good" or meritorious the finished pieces are.

Also working thru the worry that my creations have to be useful in some way or else they dont deserve to exist,

which of course touches feelings i have about myself & my usefulness/right to exist...

y'know? the more i cook for a household on One and tailor my cooking for myself and my own tastes, the more i'm enjoying experimenting with textures and flavors and the way my food makes me feel and the less i care about the aesthetics and photogenicness of my meals.

#Spinster isn’t your traditional modern feminist site, it’s a #radfem site. It’s about as feminist as #JKRowling. They support women’s rights, but don’t pretend that men can be women and vice versa.

Also, I’m pretty sure that his wife @mk @932614571afcbad4d17a191ee281e39eebbb41b93fac8fd87829622aeb112f4d is a cofounder as well, Alex doesn’t even run #Spinster anymore from what I can tell.

@jerrykimbro I could be wrong but I don’t think that #rebased, #pleroma, or #akkoma-based clients host or proxy remote media. Basically, #Spinster doesn’t store your comics, they load the remote files that are hosted by #Minds. If you don’t want that to happen, take your comics down from #Minds.

Holy frick...people are sharing pictures of #trans FtM "penises" and I have two reactions:

1. #X / #Twitter needs CW fields like #Mastodon, #rebased, #Pleroma etc. have.

2. Good gosh straight women are justified in being "transphobic" when it comes to who they sleep with. These look ghoulish. I've drawn hands that look more anatomically correct than these "penises", and all my drawings suck. I can see why women like the folks on #Spinster get so viscerally angry when you say they should sleep with people who have appendages like this because they're straight.

Third wave feminists are the real incels if we’re talking the #AndrewTate tinged red pill here

But to be fair there are a lot of #Spinster users who are basically WGTOW at this point
