The Superintendent of Des Moines (IA) Public Schools was detained by ICE. He has a PhD, competed in Olympics for Guyana in 2000, after having won university championships at Coppin State in the U.S. in 1997 and 1998 (despite ICE saying he came to U.S. in student visa in 1999 🤨). They list a weapons charge of having a loaded hunting rifle in car years ago, for which he paid a $100 fine.
