Tempo ist ein schlanker Open-Source-Client für Subsonic-Server wie Navidrome und bietet Streaming über Android Auto. Damit das funktioniert, muss der Entwicklermodus aktiviert sein, sowohl auf Android als auch für Android Auto.

I’ve used Bandcamp but can’t always find the artist I want and artist don’t always offer digital music. I’m curious about Tidal but not sure if it’s worth the switch and unsure how much they pay their artist. I’ve heard #Spotify is $0.003 or something like that per listen.

The #Funkwhale app lets me browse various Funkwhale pods without needing to autheticate, but the #Ultrasonic app doesn't, and forces me to authenticate. I don't see why I have to be logged in just to listen to music.

Having to sort out all my music files from CD rips from many years ago ahead of music subscription running out. Good I kept them but you realise both the utility of someone else doing all the organisational effort on the subscription platform and the inherent limitations due to outsourcing control. Using #Navidrome in a #Docker container which is a #Subsonic API implementation. #Amperfy is the music app on iOS and works well.

lay:Sub“ erfolgreich getestet. Beide kostenpflichtig für 3,99 respektive 5,99. Beide liefen auf Anhieb und fehlerfrei. Mein Favorit ist eindeutig play:Sub mit (fast zu) großem Funktionsumfang. @Morpurgo wellicht een beetje overkill, maar is een #subsonic servertje een optie? Ik heb zelf een voorgehostte van @astiga maar je kan natuurlijk ook zelf wat opzetten. En ik denk dat als je het zelf opzet, je het vast open kan zetten zodat je het elders kan delen.

I use #Subsonic, but it connects to my @ampache server. I think there is an option to play downloaded songs. I used to use @powerampache Ampache.
