Mich nervt, dass es keine ordentlichen Mastodon-Desktop-Programme gibt.
Entweder sie kopieren letztlich nur die Standard-Webbrowser-Apps, sind nur im hässlichen Schwarz zu bekommen, sind völlig überfrachtet mit "tausenden" Spalten oder passen sich in ihrer Breite nicht an den WIndowsbildschirm an.
Whalebird sieht gut aus, aber nur solange, bis ich festgestellt hab, es weigert sich, Posts mit mehr als 500 Zeichen zu verarbeiten. Alda! 50.000 Zeichen!!!! I-C-H W-I-L-L 50.000 Z-E-I-C-H-E-N !
(Und #Whalesbird verdoppelt den Stromverbrauch des Rechners! #GREENEKONOMY )
Die nächste Krankheit ist der Spaltenzwang. Enge Spalten mögen im horizontalen Gewerbe GEIL sein, aber ich will selbst festlegen, wie breit mein Fenster ist. DAT KANN DOCH NICHT SO SCHWER SEIN!!!
