So, just imagine that one day you go into a British McDonalds and one of the employees goes above and beyond to the point where you really need to show your gratitude either by way of a monetary tip or a gift (or even a really huge thank you to them). It could be something an employee does as a one off or if you're a serial McDonalds visitor, something that you notice this particular member of staff is doing all the time.
I'm sure there are other options but hey, let's run with this. Please boost as I would love to hear what people think on this subject.

I used to give cash tips upon delivery, but the problem now is that Instacart and similar services display whether a tip has been included or not. Because of this, if I forget to add a tip, there’s a chance no one will want to take my order. The corporations are definitely driving the tipping culture here.

@ai6yr There's a more server-palatable way to fix #tipping!
Every restaurant must nominate a default tip (20%? 0%?), and their menu prices must include this tip. When paying, a customer can choose to tip more or less than this default if they want to.
This way, servers and restaurants can still choose their compensation models, assholes can still stiff bad service, no-tip restaurants don't falsely seem more expensive, and outsiders know how much to tip.
