▴ Glacier Grey Hike

View of Glacier Grey from a viewpoint along the trail between Refugio Paine Grande and Refugio Grey. The weather that day was exceptionally windy – even by Patagonian standards – but the dramatic cloud formations and shifting light made the rugged landscapes along Lago Grey all the more striking. Definitely one of the highlights of the W Trek!

▴ Laguna Azul

Sunrise from the shores of Laguna Azul, with the iconic spires of Torres del Paine glowing red in the first light of day. We were lucky to have clear skies on our first morning, offering an unobstructed view of the towers.

Technically just outside the borders of Torres del Paine National Park, the nearby campsite at Laguna Azul still provides stunning views of the Paine Massif. It’s also a quieter alternative to the more crowded campsites inside the park, especially later in the season, and serves as a starting point for several trails around the lagoon.

Во время экскурсии по парку Torres del Paine успел сбегать на смотровую площадку, чтобы посмотреть на ледник и озеро Grey(вообще, предполагалось, что это время на обед, но увидел на карте, что она не очень далеко, и решил рискнуть и дойти; пришлось понервничать, но вернулся ровно к назначенному времени)

В группе был голландец, который на следующий день сидел за мной в автобусе в El Calafate, а потом сидел за мной и в самолёте в Буэнос-Айрес.

Фото с "удочкой" это отсылка к подобному фото в Непале, но там посимпатичнее вышло - было значительно больше времени и товарищ, который мог фотографировать; зато здесь я не такой заросший(но менее причесанный).

Треккинг к основанию Tres Torres. Туда-обратно это километров 20. Путь сравнительно несложный, но занимает весь день(особенно если идти с группой).

Уговорить всех четырех на совместное фото не удалось 😀. Большую часть дня шел дождь, но утром получилось сделать несколько неплохих фото (здесь только из одного места, когда-нибудь и до остальных доберусь).

Второй день наблюдения за пумами. В этот раз встретил четырех, которые тусовались вместе - уже знакомую Dania, а так же Peteca с ее детьми(дочка Luna и сын Rayo; им по два года). Peteca можно узнать по шраму на левой стороне груди. На первом фото сверху Dania, слева Rayo, справа Peteca.
