Сейчас это удивительное устройство принято относить к категории субноутбуков, но во времена, когда оно только появилось на свет, такого понятия еще не существовало. В середине девяностых японские инженеры решали непростую задачу: они пытались создать небольшое компактное устройство, сопоставимое по весу и габаритам с карманными компьютерами, но при этом способное работать с софтом и под управлением ОС для обычных настольных персоналок. Именно таким девайсом и стал Casio Cassiopeia FIVA MPC-102 — компактный ноутбук с полноценной Windows 98 на борту. А что в нём особенного?

Mir scheint, als sei die Position des #VESA Mounts auf der Rückseite eines TVs nicht genormt zu sein?

Also wenn ich einen TV tauschen möchte, die gleiche Größe kaufe wie der alte war, wird der neue vermutlich einige cm weiter oben oder unten hängen???

Ich brauche aber EXAKT die gleiche Höhe wie der alte.
Die Wandhalterung zu versetzen ist auch keine Option.

Leider stehen nirgends die Maße der Position des VESA Mounts, aber alleine von den Bildern her scheint das offensichtlich zu sein...

Nachdem ich einfach keine Tastaturhalterung für #VESA gefunden habe, die nicht 90 Grad hat oder verstellbar wäre, hab ich mir da jetzt selber etwas gezimmert...

Zwei Stücke Holz in einem nicht 90 Grad Winkel zusammenzuschrauben ohne vernünftiges Werkzeug (hatte nur eine Standbohrmaschine), ist wirklich nicht einfach!
Aber jetzt kann ich endlich vernünftig tippen!

I want to use a 43 inch TV that's lightweight. As long as I get the 200mm adapter, is there any reason I couldn't use a monitor arm (clamp-down) that's made for a smaller screen? The TV weight isn't an issue, I'm just wondering about how screen size might affect things.

Firma Sony zaprezentowała nową linię zaawansowanych monitorów medycznych, która obejmuje trzy modele o przekątnych 27, 32 i 43 cali.

Urządzenia te zostały zaprojektowane z myślą o zastosowaniach profesjonalnych, takich jak chirurgia czy endoskopia, gdzie kluczowe znaczenie ma precyzja i szczegółowość obrazu.

Najważniejszą cechą nowej serii jest certyfikat VESA Display HDR 1000, który monitory medyczne Sony otrzymały jako pierwsze na rynku.  Potwierdza on bardzo wysoką jakość obrazu, w tym imponujące parametry jasności i kontrastu. Szczytowa jasność, w zależności od modelu, wynosi od 1850 do 2250 cd/m², a współczynnik kontrastu to 1 000 000:1.  Takie parametry mają zwiększać pewność diagnostyczną i precyzję podczas procedur medycznych.

Nowe monitory wykorzystują technologię Mini-LED oraz system Backlight Master Drive, które zapewniają doskonałą klarowność i głębię obrazu.  Rozdzielczość 4K oraz szeroka gama kolorów gwarantują realistyczne odwzorowanie, co jest kluczowe w zastosowaniach medycznych.  Dodatkowo, ekrany posiadają powłoki antyrefleksyjne, minimalizujące odblaski i poprawiające widoczność w jasno oświetlonych salach operacyjnych.

Sony podkreśla również swoje zaangażowanie w zrównoważony rozwój. W nowych modelach znacznie ograniczono ilość plastikowych opakowań – o 86% w przypadku modelu 32-calowego i o 84% w modelu 27-calowym w porównaniu do poprzedników.

Monitory wyposażono także w inteligentne systemy zarządzania energią, które optymalizują jej zużycie bez utraty wydajności klinicznej.  Wszystkie trzy modele są już dostępne w sprzedaży.

¿#HDMI o #DisplayPort en #Linux? Sin lugar a dudas, DisplayPort, ya que HDMI Forum ha vetado la implementación de la versión 2.1 de su especificación en #AMDGPU.

DisplayPort, por su parte, es una interfaz abierta desarrollada por #VESA, por lo que su implementación es totalmente libre, como en USB.

@ArpadLinks @greenpeace I think the latter ideas won't be implementable legally, but whyt you mean with the former already exists with many #AllInOnePCs, #ThinClients and #EmbeddedComputer|s:

• Low power, space-efficient computers that barely sip energy whilst being fully useable as Desktops.

Besides #surplus'd Hardware and frightingly-expensive for their computational power #Embedded systems there's @frameworkcomputer which sell you their #mainboards, #CoolerMaster sells a matching low-profile #case which allegedly has #VESA-Mounts, so you can easily screw that on the rear of a monitor and have a cheap #AiO #Desktop that is also #repairable.

• I hope that comes close to what you're looking for.

@bastetfurry @janet_catcus the only thing cooler would be if they did a #transparent version, but I also know why they didn't and instead chose said muted colour pallet: As those are easily sourceable, child-safe (if not medical- or food-grade), and available as recycling plastics. Also said colours don't directly show ABS's yellowing under sunlight that distinctively.

Keeping costs down, compared to the high prices of optically clear, non-discoloured plastic ehich also tends to be more brittle, and also may not be an option due to the way they pulled a "#ThinkPadnium" style metal reinforcement of the chassis, as they clearly worked out a mix of elastic deformation (TPU), lightweight flexing and stiffening is the way to make a machine that is more forgiving in terms of abuse without designing it to be an unwieldy, heavy industrial appliance.

So yeah, I do want to see @frameworkcomputer release the #Framework12 and maybe some compact #Desktop case that is essentially allowing to shove a Framework 12 or #Framework13 mainboard and keyboard in and have a low-footprint unit like the #RaspberryPi #Pi400 & #Pi500 units. Or just some case one can bolt onto #VESA mounts at a screen (similar to a #ThinkStation Tiny / #ThinkCentre Tiny) and use those for #Classrooms.

I hope they have some nice #Stylus slot & lanyard option similar to the #X230Tablet I still daily-drive today.

And you run these tracks. Make control in turns. At the straight lines make it faster. Here there are circles. But don’t try to think that it is easy.

My fancy #Ergotron LX pole has an empty spot at the top.

Alas, i had to sell the 3rd / aux arm, a year+ ago, due to budgetary pressure.

Aren't those cheap-ish #Amazon basics #VESA mounts compatible with Ergotron LX poles? (iirc, someone said, they're the ODM)
