Found out my boss ordered 1 case of chocolate milk. For 3 meals, a day, for a week.
Now we have to compete more.

Vuln scan identified a Critical issue in a component deep in the guts of 3 products. For some reason it took more than a month for my suggestion to, ya know, ASK THE PRODUCT OWNER if their platform is actually vulnerable the CVE use cases.

And then another 2 weeks to get a reply that since we are busy replacing the platform and are on an unsupported version (urk!) that the PO is not interested in spending time opening a Support case.

And then 5 *minutes* for ME to open the Support ticket for them, 30 minutes to get an update indicating support is checking with engineering, and 14 more hours to get a PHONE call from Support walking me through what's vulnerable and what's not, and a well written follow-up email showing we are not at risk and can downgrade the severity and add this to the Risk Acceptance list.

And then I get people harping on me because "That's not your job to do!”

FUCK IT, I solved the mystery, didn't I? And got a broad-scope CRITICAL off the VM list.

AND the vendor acknowledged that not even their most recent release has the fixed component, and now they are working to fix that!

Word keeps changing the documents language settings to US english despite removing it as an option for the file. Just let me type utilisation or analyse or categorise, they're perfectly reasonable words.

It's a fvcking nightmare.
Eat more than a couple bites of food, overheat/sweat excessively.
Try to stretch, dizziness and fatigue hit.
Take a shower, sweat excessively afterwards & fatigue for 1 to 2 days.
Random chest pain, shortness of breath, hearing problems, memory issues, UGH!

Went to my kid's performance. It's a school recital with 16 acts. And i get it, it's a big game day (RIP Niners) but don't get up and leave after your kids perform. It's annoying to the audience and throws off the vibe to everyone.

Fibromyalgia or long Covid plus my nerve damaged neck & back has been crushing me since February.

I put a new shower head in yesterday and then took a nice long shower.
That's it.
Today I'm paying for it with extra pain & fatigue.
Don't think I'll ever know if this was caused by Covid or something else.
