3x 3 Tall Split Jerks. Started at 20kg, then to 25 and 27kg.

3x 3 Jerk Balances. Started at 27, then 29 and 31kg. Happy about that result, it felt good and stable.

Then the #Workout: "Sergeant Peanut Butter"

Teams of 3
* Person 1: 16m Sled Push (100kg) or 10 Box Step Ups (2x12.5kg)
* Person 2: 15 Dumbbell Bench Presses (2x12.5kg)
* Person 3: Max kxcal Row until Person 2 moves

Time cap: 15'

Score was total kcal rowed, we ended at 189 kcal.

- 5x 5 Bench Press @ 75-80% of 1RM = 30kg

Accessory: 4 rounds

Ich habe heute beim Pen & Paper Rollenspiel-Treff das erste Mal ein #WoD Spiel gespielt (Exalted betrachte ich nicht als WoD), und zwar #Wechselbalg (#ChangelingTheDreaming). Ich kann mit Vampire, Werwolf und dem edgy gothic Kram nichts anfangen, aber das war echt ein schönes Spiel und hat mir gut gefallen, sehr gut sogar.

After the rowing there was some gymnastics: 3 rounds max wall walks in about 40". I managed 5 per 40" before my arms gave out.

- 300 m run (intermediate version)

Did 1:43 - 1:46 - 1:49 - 1:48 - 1:47 - 1:54 = 10:47

Gymnastics: Handstand Push Ups 3 rounds, scaled to
- 4 half wall walks
- 90" rest

I ran, it was the first time in ages. My hip flexors were unhappy by the 5th round. But did it. And fairly consistent time

В комментариях пишут, что вампиры не обязательно прочные, ведь поглощение урона описано как способность to resist a certain degree of physical punishment и to ignore the mightiest punches and barely feel hails of bullets, а резистить и игнорить можно по-разному. Возможно, все эти punches и bullets пробивают вампирскую тушку, просто ему в силу своей сверхъестественной природы на них наплевать - поэтому вампир, хоть и продырявлен, но урона не получил
И да, это вполне себе рабочая трактовка, но есть одно «но». Вернее, даже два:

  1. описание поглощения урона находится рядом с описанием брони, которая игромеханически тоже дает поглощение, из чего большинство прочитавших делают вывод, что соакпул - это именно броня, а поглощение урона = непробиваемость;
  2. кое-кто из авторов тоже сделал такой вывод, поэтому тот же Энди из Мехико should he attempt to soak the damage, he cannot break through the bone

Вывод: поглощение урона очень даже можно трактовать не как непробиваемость, а как игнор уже пробившего. Однако есть описания его именно как непробиваемости, поэтому в комьюнити (и даже некоторыми из авторов сеттинга) вампиры считаются очень прочными

I was happy I did not do my PT before the workout, since there were Bulgarian split squats in the accessory (which I did not know). Also felt a bit rushed in the building up to the snatch balance - would have liked a couple more rounds, probably would have gone a bit heavier)

First split jerk, 5x2 split jerks. Started at 33kg, ended at 40kg, which is absolutely mindboggling for me. It went smoothly, still felt like the bar was flying, no pain.

I hate burpees. Burpees probably hate me.
