@timnitGebru Don't forget #Ablist. Images have descriptions here, but when you get into some of the private communities, boy does it come out!

Basically, what I'm trying to say is.... sometimes posting an #ImageDescription is just beyond me. In those situations it's not because i'm being a thoughtless, #ablist cunt. It's because I'm struggling with my own disability.

If that cannot be changed, then requested aids must be given to make mutual #communication possible. #Autistic people should never be forced to "learn by trail and error" if extra understanding is not going to be applied to our mistakes. This is #ablist.

I unfortunately figured that if the counsel was unwilling to shift any of their protocols to make it #accessible and they also weren't willing to make expectations clear beforehand, that I was not meant to be part of it. (9/?)
