Why I love #3Dprinting: I need water on the balcony. Instead of running a hose from the bathroom through multiple rooms, I want to attach it to the IKEA-faucet in the kitchen, next to the balcony. But the faucet has a weird internal thread I have no #adaptor for.
So I take out the calipers, research a few minutes about threads, do a simple design in Fusion360 and send it to the printer.
All in all I have a MVP in about an hour and now I can easily water the flowers on the balcony.

One more for #MacroMonday. I took this back when my Pentax DSLR was getting repaired. I adapted one of my Pentax lenses to my Olympus PEN and tried a few shots. I don't have a dedicated macro lens for Micro Four Thirds. Do you have one you'd recommend?

#ergonomics not of office chairs but #bicycle #seats puzzle me. At the #gym I sit my bony butt on a #rowing machine or a #recumbent bicycle and I feel like I'm grinding softer tissue (#muscle? #connectiveTissue?) against bone, painfully, after about five minutes. Extra padding helps, but only a bit. On an upright bike I'm good as long as my energy holds. What's happening #anatomically? What sort of #adaptor can I buy or make to put on the rowing machine to mimic the normal bike seat?

My #SSD upgrade is all done and buttoned-up.

Today I had to give two different presentations in two entirely different places, neither of which had an #HDMI connection, which is the only #video output I have on my #laptop. Both still had #VGA, which is pretty ancient these days. Luckily, a few years ago, I bought an HMDI-to-VGA #adaptor but initially I had difficulty with using it, perhaps because of lack of full support in #KDE.
