Zalia walks, tightrope-style, on a fallen tree which acts as a bridge between two grass-covered rocky cliffs. Bare-limbed trees line both cliffs. We're very, very high up, as the trees below appear quite small.

A bit more of a serene scene. Zalia, her back to us, sits in the grass at the shore of a lake. Her sword and shield sit in the grass near her. The lake surface is as flat and calm as a mill pond. The sun is low in the sky, probably setting. The mountains in the background reflect off the lake's surface, and the low-hanging sun shimmers on the water.

A side-scrolling scene more typical of the gameplay. Zalia stands in some tall grass near the entrance of a forest. The scene is at sunset, as the sky is filled with brilliant gold, orange, and purple colors, with orange and gold-colored clouds. She's standing still, looking into the woods, and calling out: "Hello?"

Also been tackling the snow tileset. It's basically structured the same as the grassland set, but rubberduck made several tiles that are exclusive to this set.

Getting back into updating Flare's assets. Added animated water to the grassland tileset, which I think turned out even better than the cave tileset's water. Though, maybe still a little too dark?

📚️ Space Station 14 is a libre, multi-platform online sandbox action RPG (derived from the game Space Station 13, which it improves and liberates) where players live aboard a space station, all with great freedom of action and scenarios (depending on the servers). Some players play as members of the space station, with different roles assigned, others are assigned antagonistic roles, with the objective of disrupting the station's mission. It can also be played as a simple shooter on the same station! Excellent!

Morning Folks! This weekend was the launch of #PathOfExile Secrets of the Atlas/Mercenaries of Trarthus league. It was a rough start, and with holiday travel... I did not hit maps until last night. I talk about my experience with Mercenaries thus far.

🕶️ The game screen is very small (corresponding to the specifications of the NES, whose display is 256×240 pixels). A bird's-eye view of a Zelda-style game, where Link (the protagonist) is walking along a paved road, approaching a house in the middle of the woods. A mini-map at top left suggests a very large map.

📚️ ZQuest Classic is a libre, multi-platform, mature action-RPG engine, that comes with a clone of the NES version of The Legend of Zelda (1986, Nintendo). It lets you play numerous games (700 quests as of June 2023, mostly Zelda-like) designed by the community, and easily develop them thanks to its comprehensive, intuitive editor, which requires no programming (apart from the optional scripting language for extended functions), and also delivers data sets (traditional/improved). The project has brought together a community that has developed significant content, and its development is sustained.
